Mtahleb Hillclimb To highlight Motorsports festival

Malta Independent Saturday, 3 December 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

The forthcoming weekend will see the seventh instalment of the Island Car Club Hillclimb Championship re-visit Mtahleb. With the championship drawing to a close, and the leader boards in several classes showing remarkably close points, contestants will definitely be pushing hard, as familiarity with the hill has set in, having already raced at this venue twice this year.

The Mtahleb Hillclimb traditionally draws a large amount of entrants, with these ranging from every day road cars driven by aficionados, to F3 and sports prototype cars that wouldn’t be out of place on track in major European events.

The first runs will start at 9am and the Island Car Club thanked the Rabat Local Council and Mayor Sandro Craus for their continued support and for making the event possible.
