Having been once again crowned MSV Life League Champions at the end of 2011, okmalta.com will this week embark on their third consecutive title retention campaign.

The new season will see a total of 28 four-man teams participating, in three separate divisions over eighteen league weeks. MSV Life have once again confirmed their sponsorship of the 2012 leagues, organised by the Malta Tenpin Bowling Association and played at the Eden SuperBowl, St. Julians.

Okmalta.com left it late to have their most recent league victory confirmed, as it went right down to their final clash against Salitos in week eighteen, when a 6-2 win was enough to pull victory from the grasp of nearest rivals Fina, who had to settle for second best. Ramis claimed third place in Division I, just one point behind Fina (100-99).

While Salitos and Gladiators both suffered a drop to the second division at the end of the last season, they were replaced in the top flight by Supreme and J Grima & Co, who clinched the top two spots in Division II.

In the meantime, Atlas and One-4-All drop from the second to the third division, and their places will be taken by 4-Play and Kiwis, the Division III winners and runners up respectively.

MSV Life National League weekly fixtures:

Division I - Thursdays, starting 9pm

Division II - Wednesdays, starting 9pm

Division III - Mondays, starting 8.45pm
