Marsaxlokk FC yesterday reacted with a press release against the notice received from the MFA on Thursday, informing them about the deduction of another point because they failed to pay wages to Emiliano Lattes on time.

The deadline for payment was end of April. Marsaxlokk are claiming that they have acknowledgement from Lattes that he received his dues on 30 April in the evening.

But since 1 May was a holiday, Marsaxlokk could not onforward relative proof receipt to MFA on time and were eventually docked another point.
