The Malta Volleyball Association has stepped up its drive to increase the number of qualified volleyball coaches and, following the local courses organised last year, will now be holding an FIVB Level 1 coaching course.

FIVB have appointed Slovak coachMr. Dusan Jarotta as course director.

The full time course, which will include both theoratical and practical coaching, will run for 88 hours between 8 and 19 July. More than 30 persons have applied for the course.

The coaching course has been made possible through the sponsorship of Olympic Solidarity and the Maltese Olympic Committee.
