Former Qormi FC skipper Joseph Farrugia is the second major acquisition for Luxol St Andrews Fc for the new season, after the Division 1 club yesterday announced the signing of the talented midfielder.

After much speculation about his new destination, Joseph Farrugia and new president Steve Abela put pen to paper on a three year contract.

“After the signing of Matthew Towns last week, we needed to secure another experienced player in midfield to drive our young team. Joseph Farrugia fitted this position perfectly and we are happy that he chose Luxol when he had been courted by a host of other Premier Div clubs. This means that he also believes in our project”, said president Steve Abela.
