The police are investigating the circumstances which led to a Mitsubishi Colt catching fire. The incident occurred at around 2.30am on Monday, when the police were informed that a parked car was on fire in Triq Patri Magri in Hamrun.

Members from the Civil Protection Department were called on site to extinguish the fire. Duty magistrate Gabriella Vella has ordered an inquiry.
