Susie Wolff continues as Williams' F1 development driver

Susie Wolff will continue her role as a development driver for the Williams Formula One team this season.

Wolff joined Williams last April and helped develop the Williams-Renault FW34 and FW35. Williams said in a statement Monday that her level of in-car testing will increase this season. The Scottish driver will be the first to get behind the wheel of the FW35 next month, and will do the majority of aerodynamic testing.

Wolff is just the fourth woman in a decade to drive a F1 car. In October she completed 62 miles of Silverstone's international circuit and dedicated her experience to Maria de Villota, who lost the sight in her right eye in a crash in July.
