The founder of the Nationalist Party’s women’s movement, Joyce Grech, passed away today, aged 80.

She was president of the MNPN between 1975 and 1988.

In a statement, the Naionalist Party expressed its condolences to Ms Grech family. It said that Ms Grech was instrumental in pushing forward women's issues.
