A good number of ITS students helped organize and participated in a blood donation drive last week as part of this year’s ITS Student Council’s initiatives.

Various ITS students, lecturers and staff participated in the blood donation drive with the aim of raising awareness and encouraging people to help boost blood supplies.

Speaking about the blood drive, ITS Student Council representative, Ephrom Tabone said: “Taking just a few minutes out of your day to donate blood can potentially save lives and we felt it was of the utmost importance to organize such an initiative on ITS Campus so that we create the necessary awareness and make students recognise how important it is to volunteer and participate in such blood drives”.  “We were very pleased to see a great deal of involvement from a good number of students and to also receive the support of our lecturers and ITS staff in this altruistic initiative,” he concluded.
