On the last day of the electoral campaign, Labour leader Joseph Muscat this morning visited Rabat, Zebbug and Paola in a bid to convince people to vote for a change in direction.
He emphasised that those who really are seeking a change in direction should vote for Labour’s candidates, while pointing out that it was vital to go out and vote because failing to do so would defeat the purpose: addressing our disgruntlements over a number of issues such as the public transport and energy tariffs.
Dr Muscat called on all those present not to react to any provocation, adding that one will do anything to spark provocation when all hope is lost.
He warned that the Labour Party will not give refuge to those who react to provocation.
Concluding, he said that it was vital to convince the electorate that Sunday will bring about a new beginning.
