Actavis Lifecycle Challenge 2013 launched

The Actavis Lifecycle Challenge 2013 will be taking the participants to the North Eastern part of Europe and will see cyclists taking a route of 2000 kms over 11 days from Minsk to St Petersburg. This was announced by Shirley Cefai secretary of the Lifecycle (Malta) Foundation during the signing of a corporate sponsorship agreement with Actavis, the main sponsor of this year’s event.

Present for the Lifecycle Logo Launch on behalf of Actavis were Mr. Sergio Vella, Vice President, Manufacturing, Operations, Western Europe, Mr. Patrick Cachia, Managing Director Actavis Ltd, Mr. Daniel Vella Friggieri, Regional Director NCWA and Mr. Mauro Abdilla Marketing Manager together with other Actavis employees.

Commenting about Actavis’ sponsorship, Mr Sergio Vella, said that, “As a corporate member of the local community, Actavis is proud to be associated with worthy initiatives with a key focus on health care oriented areas.  In fact, this is not the first time that Actavis is committing itself to support the Lifecycle Challenge and other charitable and philanthropic initiatives aimed at alleviating some of the hardships being endured by members of our community.”

Mr Vella added that,  Actavis' support towards the Lifecycle Challenge aligns itself superbly with the three Winning Behaviours of our Corporation, namely Challenge( finding new ways to do things faster and smarter), Connect (working together as one team) and Commit( delivering on commitment and embracing social responsibility).

The LifeCycle (Malta) Foundation mission statement is to help renal patients have a better quality of life.
