The Malta Records festival on the 3-4 May will be playing host to some very large culinary delights.
Gastronomic history may soon be rewritten as the festival organisers have promised that the “biggest ravioli in the world” will be cooked on this momentous day.
Many a Frenchman will also be made to quiver in his pants, as the Maltese will try and prove that they can measure up and vie for a place in the record books in having the biggest 'bezzun' (baguette) in the world.
Malta Records describes itself as a group aiming to award and certify “the longest, shortest, biggest and smallest objects.”
Festival organisers have promised that over 80 local records will be broken over the two day period.
