Over the years Comtec has accumulated tremendous experience in pest control and following rigours market analysis and years of providing services from Malta, Comtec International has set up a base in Tripoli, Libya.  Comtec is operating from its headquarters in Ben Ashour, a very central district in downtown Tripoli along with a service warehouse centre out in the more rural area of Sareej, which ensures a comprehensive and prompt coverage of all the Tripoli area.

Comtec was one of the first organizations to return into the new Free Libya, when it was called in to provide a much needed disinfestation of one of the Maltese owned hotels found along the coast, which had laid abandoned for most of the campaign. Comtec moved in to provide a disinfestation service ahead of other locally based international service providers, which had still not returned.

Speaking about the establishment of its headquarters in Tripoli, Comtec International director, Peter Mercieca said that, “Comtec is very proud to have made this first step into Libya with our team and our strategic partners. The Company plans on growing further within the region in the future, taking Comtec Malta and turning it into Comtec International.”
