A spokesperson for parliamentary secretary Edward Zammit Lewis has said that an announcement will be made “in the coming days” with regards to the new Freeport board.
Asked whether Ronnie Pellegrini will be given the top role, the spokesperson stuck doggedly to the line that an official press release will be issued.
The spokesperson refused to deny that Mr Pellegrini has been lined up for the post.
