Regus igned a collaboration agreement with LEAD Training and Events with the intent to formalise cooperation between the two entities’ synergies.

Both companies have recognised the fact that due to the extensive networks they cultivate, they are able to offer valuable and relevant service within their networks – be they small, medium or large-sized corporate firms.

Regus General Manager Jankarl Farrugia said: "As the leading workplace solutions provider in Malta and globally, we believe that LEAD clients can benefit from a number of business services ranging from hot desking, virtual offices, meeting rooms to fully fledged serviced offices.

"On the other hand, LEAD offers bespoke training and events which are very reputable on the local and soon international market.’’

Lead Events Director James Grech added his views about the collaboration saying: "LEAD is proud to be associated with an international franchise such as Regus.

"Our training events which are known for providing excellent networking opportunities which Regus will benefit from, thus expanding its business concept further in Malta."

Four years after Regus, the world’s leading provider of flexible workspaces, opened its first business centre in Malta, its Swatar Business Centre is helping companies of all sizes to contend with global economic uncertainty.

Demand for workspace at Regus’s Swatar centre has grown steadily since its launch in 2009.

Companies are using the space to open up new markets, project a good image, and modernise their working practices.

The centre is popular across diverse sectors, including finance, online gaming, pharmaceutical, banking and IT, and with both established businesses and start-ups.

As well as helping businesses in diverse sectors, the Regus centre at Swatar has become a hub for the business community in Malta, a venue of choice for events and meetings. Regus staff at Swatar are playing key roles in initiatives to attract more international direct investment (FDI) to Malta, to promote Maltese enterprises internationally, and to raise funds for charity.
