Digital Planet, Malta’s official importer and distributor of the Panasonic brand is announcing a new corporate logo which completes a whole rebranding exercise that also included a total overhaul of its shop in Marina Road, Pietà.
Replacing a smaller shop which was located next door, the brand new outlet follows the interior design and image of all Panasonic concept stores around the world and is a showcase to all the range of products produced by Panasonic including televisions, dvd players, appliances, music equipment and an array of other products for home and office use.
“The idea to change our logo started last year when we commenced the refurbishment of the shop to turn it into a Panasonic Concept Store. We wanted our company to reflect the dynamism of the flagship brand we represent because our old logo was not matching the new concept we wanted to communicate. The imagery of the waves in the new logo, is reminiscent of sound waves but also reflects a company that is dynamic, constantly on the move, and ready to surprise,” says Keith Spiteri, General Manager of Digital Planet.
He added that, “when people visit our new concept store, they can safely say they entered Panasonic’s home and the experience will be the same as the experience one will find in any other Panasonic concept store around the world. Products are now better displayed, the shop is much more spacious and customers can enjoy experiencing our vast range of products in a more relaxed environment that is conducive to the same experience that our products seek to deliver. It has been designed in a very flexible way that allows rotation of displayed products depending on those items that we would want to display and promote at a particular point in time.”.
