The Tunisian Minister for Agriculture Mr Mohamed Ben-Salem together with the Tunisian Ambassador for Malta and a delegation of some 20 top Tunisian businessmen made an official visit to The Magro Food Village on Friday 28th June.

Mr John Magro and his son Christian welcomed the delegation and showed them around the different food production facilities. They also discussed the possible collaboration between the Magro family and Tunisian agricultural suppliers.

The members of the delegation were very impressed about the organization and the level of cleanliness around the factories. They also complemented the Magro organization for the innovative products that they produce both for the local market as well as for overseas markets.

The Minister invited Magro to visit Tunis and study the potential of the Tunisian agriculture sector.
