China ambassador to Malta Cai Jinbaio on Saturday conducted an official visit to the island of Gozo.

He was welcomed by Gozo Minister Anton Refalo.

Dr Refalo requested support from Mr Jinbaio so that Gozo would host a Chinese garden, same as Malta.

During the visit, an exhibition hosted by a Chinese artist within the Gozo Ministry building was inaugurated as part of the Malta China Friendship Society initiative.

The Chinese ambassador promised his full cooperation towards the island of Gozo.
