Sports, healthy lifestyles, cultural, religious diversity were the main themes of a recent Youth Exchange between 21 young people from TEAM (a non-formal group of young people from Malta) and another group from Brussels aged between 13 and 17 years. 

The young people were able to make new friends and get to know about each other’s cultural and religious diversities while, having fun in a healthy environment. The week’s programme included various team-building exercises, games, sports, life skills, heritage trails, treasure hunts, orienteering and cultural visits to Valletta, Mdina, Hagar Qim and Gozo. 

The non-formal environment of the Marsaxlokk Youth Activity Centre enhanced the friendly atmosphere prevalent among the young participants, who empowered by their youth workers, shared experiences that widen their European cultural perspectives.
