Over 60 complete postgraduate studies in Pharmacy

Malta Independent Thursday, 22 August 2013, 12:12 Last update: about 11 years ago

Over 60 students have this year successfully completed a Masters degree with the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Malta. The Department is also offering an M.Pharm part-time evening course allowing students the opportunity to further their studies in the pharmaceutical sector.

The M.Pharm part-time evening course is aimed at alumni who have obtained a B.Pharm degree through a five-year programme and would like to take their studies to the next level. As a part-time course this offers a good amount of flexibility to suit the needs of workers. Students can choose to complete the three study units of the course over a maximum of three years, thereby being able to fit in the course with other life and work commitments. Study units are mostly based on online learning, which allows the students the flexibility to plan their own study schedule.

The first year of the course was a great success and received positive feedback from the students themselves. Over 20 students have successfully completed this M.Pharm part-time course this year and will be graduating towards the end of November. Prospective students for next year’s intake can apply until 31 August. Late applications are accepted until 27 September.
