Two PE teachers, Michael Farrugia and Paul Camilleri, together with some students from St Augustine College and from St Elias College, went for a football tournament in Sweden. They participated in the Mellsta Cup in Borlange, Sweden between 9 and 16 July. 

The students were divided in three teams. One of the teams won the tournament and was never defeated. Another team came third and lost only by means of penalties. 

The students who took part in this tournament were Bradley Attard, Nathan Attard, Keelan Azzopardi, Jean Paul Baldacchino, Karl Bonavia, Aidan Bonello, Francesco Borg, Samuel Cassar, Jean D’Alfonso, Matthew Farrugia, Manuel Farrugia, Steve Farrugia, Julian Galdes, Nathan Ghigo, Darren Micallef, Miguel Mifsud, Gosef Mizzi, Owen Muscat, Andriy Pisani, Liam Portelli, Clayton Sciberras, Liam Sciberras, Owen Vassallo, Andreas Vella and Ryan Vella.
