€21 million investment for Libyan campus at Ta’ Giorni

The Libyan government is to invest €21 million in an international campus at Ta’ Giorni, St Julian’s.

The agreement was signed this afternoon between Education and Employment Minister Evarist Bartolo and the Libyan Employment Minister Mohammed Swalem.

In addition to infrastructural investment, another €1.4 million will go towards equipment.

The campus will offer undergraduate courses and is to consist in 16 lecture rooms and two ICT laboratories. A number of workshops intended for engineering will also be set up.
