The European Commission Representation in Malta organised an event to commemorate the European Day of Languages in Pjazza Tigné, Sliema today.

Stands were set up by English and foreign language schools, embassies and cultural centres in Malta to distribute information about the various different languages around the world.

The day featured Arabic dancing, discussions and children’s events, including workshops and book reading with author Clare Azzopardi, among others.
