During a recent brief visit to Malta, Inter Milan’siconic captain Javier Zanetti accepted an invitation from local tailoring brand “Gagliardi” – a brand from the Bortex Group stables, to visit its showrooms in Marsa which are currently decked out with the Spring / Summer 2014 collections. The former Argentina captain was whisked to “Gagliardi” headquarters immediately upon landing in Malta. He was given a tour by Brand Manager, Sam Borg who also took the opportunity to present him with a selection of products from the range.

Despite living and working in Milan, a city which is widely acclaimed as the fashion capital of the world, Zanetti was visibly impressed by the collections and the quality of garments on display so much so that the Champions League winner was back in contact with the local tailoring firm a day later, this time to have another three bespoke suits custom made by Gagliardi’s master tailors.

Javier Zanetti joins a growing list of celebrities who have been kitted out by Gagliardi including Rugby World Cup winner Jason Robinson who has gone one step further and agreed to become a Gagliardi brand Ambassador worldwide.
