Public Broadcasting Services’ news manager Reno Bugeja is receiving a salary of €42,000 a year, plus another €11,700 for producing and presenting his weekly programme Dissett. This is equivalent to €300 per Dissett programme, for 39 weeks.

Answering a parliamentary question by Nationalist MP Mario Galea, Home Affairs Minister Manwel Mallia told Parliament that apart from the salary and extras, Mr Bugeja is also getting allowances for performance bonus, car, fuel, mobile phone, internet and TV facilities, and health insurances.
