Frederick Mifsud Bonnici to chair Blevins Franks' Trust Company

Blevins Franks has appointed Frederick Mifsud Bonnici as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of its trust company based in Malta. Blevins Franks Trustees Limited serves high net worth individuals and families around Europe.

John Stone, Chairman of the Blevins Franks Group said “Having held a number of key roles in Malta, Frederick joins us with a tremendous track record. This appointment reflects our determination to establish high quality professional corporate governance of all the companies in our Group.”

Frederick Mifsud Bonnici was previously Chairman of the Bank of Valletta PLC, Head of Assurance Services (2009-2011) and the Partner responsible for Risk Management at PricewaterhouseCoopers for several years, and Chairman of the Malta Stock Exchange.

Mr Mifsud Bonnici said: “Blevins Franks is a group with a great reputation. In particular, I admire the new management’s emphasis on good corporate governance, the appropriate use of Trusts and looking to meet and exceed their clients’ expectations..”

Blevins Franks Trustees Limited is licenced by the Malta Financial Services Authority and forms part of the Blevins Franks Group of Companies. The group comprises around 150 Partners and support staff, most of whom are based in Malta. The Trust company has been in existence for over 15 years and is one of the largest trust companies in Malta, administering over 1,700 trusts and employing 16 members of staff.
