The  Annual  Charity  Dinner  organised  by  the Maltese French  Chamber  of  Commerce  was held at Villa  Arrigo  on Friday  6 December 2013.  The event     was extremely well attended and was held under the auspices of H.E. Michel Vandepoorter, French Ambassador to Malta and Mrs.  Vandepoorter.  The event was hosted by the President of the Maltese French Chamber of Commerce Dr Mark A. Miggiani and Mrs Miggiani together with Council Members. The President and Council extended their appreciation to the various guests that supported the event, particularly Mr Noel  Scerri, Executive Head Business Relationships representing Bank of  Valletta   which  is a valued sponsor of the Chamber.

The Charity Event raised a total of € 2600 towards Dar Qalb   ta’ Gesu, represented  by  Mons Zammit McKeon, who gave the guests a brief overview of the sterling work carried out by this non-profit organisation.  The evening also included a Raffle with prizes generously donated  by several  members. One original prize was the right to have one’s own portrait painted by French artist Philippe Cavelart. An auction  of 3  oil  paintings  by the ex-Brigadier   Maurice  Calleja was also held.
