The Labour Party today said that the Nationalist Party has zero credibility when it comes to matter of public transport.

“The government is focussed and is working towards handing public transport back to the people, ensuring transport that serves people’s needs,” the PL said in a statement.

On Thursday, the government nationalised the public transport service which was previously run by Arriva.

The PL said that workers’ jobs are being safeguarded, and discriminatory bus-fares have been removed.

The statement said that responsibility for the farce that was public transportation under the previous government now lies, with PN leader Simon Busuttil.
