Prime Minister Joseph Muscat this morning turned up sporting jeans along with his daughter in football gear to vote for the party’s national executive.
A total of 803 delegates are eligible to cast their vote in the election to elect 12 members in the executive, which positions were being contested by 13 people. Deputy leaders Louis Grech and Toni Abela also cast their vote.
The voting is taking place at the Labour Party headquarters in Rabat, Gozo and the party’s headquarters in Hamrun.
Vote counting is expected to start at 3 p.m.
