The team at NYX Professional Makeup in Malta has presented a cheque of €1,000 to Puttinu Cares. These funds were raised throughout the December campaign ‘NYX Yourself for Charity’.

Every day a random shopping was selected by the system and the respective bill was donated to charity instead of being accounted with the daily sales.

The funds collected were presented to Andrew Decelis, Board Member of Puttinu Cares at the NYX Store in Tower Road, Sliema by Jacqueline Ciavola, makeup artist at NYX Professional Makeup.

Throughout the month of December, NYX presented the selected shoppers with custom-made NYX frame exclusively prepared for this noble initiative. Photos were uploaded to the store’s Facebook page.

NYX Professional Makeup is all about bring a smile to faces, and this is in definitely in line with Puttinu’s philosophy and we commend their great cause”, commented Malcolm Mintoff, Director of Paloma Cosmetics Ltd, exclusive distributor of NYX Professional Makeup in Malta.

Andrew Decelis, Board Member of Puttinu Cares thanked the Management and staff for this initiative and said  “ The donation will be used for the upkeeping of the Sutton apartments project. At present all apartments owned by Puttinu cares are full and every month more than 30 families travel to the UK for treatment.  Puttinu Cares currently owns 16 apartment, and this is half way to fulfill the dream that no patient will have to pay for accommodation when traveling for treatment.”

This campaign also formed part of the brand’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative where the brand supports organisations that work hard in the Maltese community.
