Fogg Insurance considers Malta operation expansion

Opportunities for growth were discussed during a recent meeting held at Castille between the senior management team at Fogg Insurance Agencies and Prime Minister Dr Joseph Muscat.

The meeting which was attended by Fogg’s new Chief Executive Dr Vanessa Borg and by Alison Hill, the CEO of the Agency’s parent company, the Argus Group, explored Malta’s potential as a hub to support new Group wide activities as well as possible local expansion.

Dr Borg said, “As part of the Argus Group, Fogg is part of an international business with ambitious plans both in Malta and other markets. As a centre of excellence in the financial services sector we are exploring how Malta can act as a support hub for the future growth of our businesses.”

Ms Hill said, “Argus Group offers a range of insurance and financial services products in a number of markets including Gibraltar and, of course, Malta. As our product portfolio continues to develop, we need to think carefully about how we structure our business. Malta, with its excellent infrastructure and talented workforce, offers us some clear benefits and we are grateful to the Prime Minister for giving us the time to discuss possible ways forward.”

Fogg provides a wide range of insurance services in Malta including; commercial insurance which is tailor made to suit the needs of individual companies, liability insurance, marine, motor and home insurance.
