As people return to work after a long Easter weekend, the Labour Party and Nationalist Party launch their campaigns for the European Parliament election to be held on 24 May.

The Labour Party’s slogan is “Positive energy”, and was launched with a tweet by the Prime Minister Joseph Muscat. The PM appealed for a positive campaign.

For its part, the Nationalist Party also launched its campaign. In a tweet, Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil launched his party’s campaign slogan “A better Malta”.
