There have been two recent high-level resignations from Konrad Mizzi's ministry.

Mario Rogers, Permanent Secretary, resigned reportedly because of differences over procurement issues.

And Joseph Montebello, chief of staff, resigned reportedly after a shouting match with the minister that was heard all over the ministry.

Speaking on the Adjournment of the House MP George Pullicino asked whether these high-level resignations were because the two did not want to get involved in the mess regarding the power station programme of this government.

Mr Pullicino said he is informed that the government has not yet received the €30 million it said it would get for the signing of the contract.

Mr Pullicino further highlighted inconsistences between what the government promised and what it delivered.
