A 46-year-old German woman has lost her life while in ix-Xatt l-Ahmar limits of Ghajnsielem, the police said this evening.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman was diving with her husband and found herself in difficulty. The woman was assisted by other divers, who brought her ashore. Unfortunately attempts to revive the victim did not succeed.
A Magisterial inquiry has been launched.
