The China Cultural Centre and Santa Lucija Local Council will again jointly organize a Chinese Film Festival this summer from August 29 to 31, at 8pm at the Chinese Garden of Serenity, Santa Lucija.

As in the previous summers, the festival will show three excellent Chinese feature films and three documentary films to audiences in the newly renovated garden. This will definitely bring a cool, comfortable and interesting weekend to the audience.

The three films to be shown are popular Chinese films with English subtitles and will be free of charge to the public. Complimentary refreshment will be served following the film screening. 

The films are:

1. Aftershock (August 29) human stories after the 1976 earthquake

2. CZ 12 (August 30) a Jackie Chan film

3. Mother (August 31) a touching epic featuring the exile of Chinese orphans sent to Inner Mongolia.
