Acting Police Commissioner Ray Zammit took up the challenge made by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anglu Farrugia, a former police inspector, and had a bucket of cold water thrown over him by two police officiers.

One wonders, tongue in cheek, if this video will be pulled off the internet like the one in which the police gave instructions to foreigners coming to Malta how to behave was removed a few months ago. 

The ice bucket challenge has taken Malta by storm in the past few days, as the President, PM and Opposition Leader all led the way in this fund-raising challenge.

Ministers and MPs have also been in the forefront in the initiative, with many others following suit as challenges to friends and foes have come by the hundreds.
