Full-time students at a secondary and tertiary level of education can now benefit from these plans, including all those who attend any secondary school, sixth form college, university or vocational college in Malta and Gozo. Through these new student plans, students can benefit from the latest mobile technology to be in touch 24X7 with family and friends at a lower monthly rate, and will receive extra minutes, SMS and data when topping up.  "Today's students really are at the forefront of technological developments and need to have all the latest information readily available at the touch of a button. At Vodafone we understand that this is no longer just a social requirement but is also becoming increasingly important to their studies. We are therefore very conscious of the particular needs of students and we want to ensure that the latest plans and tariffs are geared to meet these needs while being made available at an affordable price," said Reuben Abela, Senior Prepaid Marketing Executive at Vodafone Malta. "Through these new plans Vodafone offers students the latest technology at a price they can afford."What does the improved Vodafone yu: Play Monthly plan consist of?  This service is enabled with free 4G, and for only €12 every 28 days students can now benefit from 2.5GB of mobile internet, and free SMS and calls to all Vodafone numbers.  Students topping up with €10 or more will receive free calls and SMS to all Vodafone numbers, and 500MB of mobile internet. These new plans were a talking point at Fresher's Week at the University of Malta last week, when 100 Vodafone employees visited the Vodafone stand to experience at first hand the energy and enthusiasm that marked this event while offering assistance and advice on Vodafone products and services.
