A court today ordered that Gregorio Scicluna, aka il Goodie, accused of murdering his father in law, has his bail revoked after the Attorney General appealed an earlier decision. Scicluna had not left prison as he still had not raised the money to be release on bail.

Earlier this week, the Attorney General had complained that Scicluna is a relapser and had already been found guilty of assisting a woman in her attempt to kill her husband. Mr Justice Michael Mallia ruled that the bail is revoked.

The appeal was lodged after Scicluna had been granted bail against a deposit of 30,000 and a personal guarantee of 30,000.

Scicluna, 52, stands charged with the murder of his father in law, Joseph Caruana, and the attempted murder of his former partner and their two children in October 2013.

Mr Scicluna faces a total of 11 charges, with the most serious being the murder of Caruana.
