On the 1st November 2014, The Voice Academy Malta attended a Master Class at their international partner school BIMM Institute in London.  15 students and their vocal coach, Mr Ivan De Gabriele, took part in a Master class / workshop delivered experienced vocal coach Mr David Laudat.  David has worked with artists such as The Spice Girls, East 17, Westlife, All Saints, Liberty X, Ash, Rick Astley, Heather Small, Blazing Squad, Lisa Maffia and 100 Reasons, to name but a few.  He has also appeared as the judges' expert on the first two seasons of The X Factor, and as a judge or coach on a number of other TV shows. 

During the master class, the students worked extensively on the chosen song Forever, by the group Haim. The group was divided into three sections where they worked on various harmonies, with the main melody being sung by five students and the rest vocalised the song in the different harmonies. 

During the workshop, the students were given the opportunity to sing live, accompanied by a three piece live band, with three other students singing in harmony the backing vocals. Mr Laudat was all praise about the high standard of our Maltese students.
