Shooting inquiry report: PM expected to give news conference some time this evening

A news conference is expected to be held at Castille at around 9 p.m. and is to be addressed by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat. Dr Muscat is expected to state the conclusions of an inquiry report which looked into the shooting incident involving the former driver of Home Affairs Minister Manuel Mallia. He is also expected to say what decisions he will be taking after having been handed the report earlier today.

The report was drawn up by three former judges. Dr Muscat arrived at Castille.

Journalists have been asked in to Castille.
