An MCAST success story

Friday, 12 December 2014, 18:28 Last update: about 10 years ago

Last night Amber Bondin graduated from the MCAST Institute of Community Services at Level 5 achieving her Higher National Diploma in Advanced Studies in Early Years.

Completing her Course of study has allowed Amber to progress and further her studies for two years with a top-up degree in Education in Early Years at the University of Malta. This is a result of an agreement reached between the University of Malta and MCAST for students from MCAST to further their studies with top-up degrees at the University.

Amber chose this study area as "teaching and working with children has always been of great interest to her". As a student at MCAST, she was able to put into practice what she learned in terms of theory, in different types of settings during her work placements, which included Childcare Centres, Kindergarten and Primary Schools.

Further to presenting Amber with her Diploma, Stephen Cachia, Principal and CEO, presented her with a bouquet of flowers for her achievement in winning the Malta Eurovision Song Contest and auguring her for representing Malta in the Eurovision 2015 in Austria.
