6PM announced that it has appointed Avantix as its Australian reseller, a move expected to facilitate the Maltese software company's establishment down under. 

The appointment forms a key element of 6PM's channel strategy and business development plan for organic growth, the Malta Stock Exchange-listed company said in a statement yesterday

Avantix is a leading Australian provider of intelligent information processing solutions. With a key focus on mining, government and healthcare, Avantix has enabled hundreds of firms to understand and optimize productivity, efficiency, skills and service levels. Avantix partners with some of Australia's largest organizations to develop customized software solutions that seamlessly interact with their core systems.

One of the products Avantix will be promoting in Australia is iFIT. Intelligent File and Inventory Tracking (iFIT) is a unique multi-purpose tracking and business process management platform that gives users the tools to manage physical paper health records and assets in various sectors of industry including health and minerals.

6PM together with Avantix will also be looking for different avenues where it will be able to deploy emCare, a dedicated fusion of health and technology to provide continuous and real time health monitoring.

Earlier this year, in line with its expansion plans and its strategy to set up subsidiaries in strategic markets, 6PM set up an office in Limerick, Ireland as part of a joint venture between 6PM Holdings plc and Medrex Systems (Ireland) Limited. 6PM also entered into a working relationship with a Canadian partner who is looking into the possibilities of introducing 6PM products and services in the Canadian health market.
