Viewers watching yesterday’s TVM news bulletin at 8pm were somewhat surprised to hear the Prime Minister let slip an “hallelujah” as the journalist mentioned the possibility that the European Council summit could be concluded early.

Usually, summits are held over two days – on Thursday and Friday – but there seems to be an effort for shorter meetings.

The PM seems to be the first to welcome such an outcome, as his “hallelujah” clearly shows. The journalist interviewing him in Brussels as well as the newscaster could not suppress their smile.

The PM’s wishes came true, as the summit, at least this time, finished its agenda on Thursday.
