Six days after part of the railings on the sea-front in St Julian’s – in between the San Giljan waterpolo club and the Neptunes pitch – were knocked down, the steel structure has not been replaced.
Hundreds of people, including mothers with young children, walk by every day (even in the winter months), making the absence of the railings a dangerous stretch.
There is a drop of several metres onto the sea below.
The authorities responsible areb urged to carry out the necessary works as soon as possible.
