As part of its commitment to offer a goodwill gesture to all its customers for their loyalty to the company while service levels are restored to normal, Melita is offering free viewing of three top tier TV channels to all melita digital and HD TV customers: ITV Choice, Disney Junior and AXN channels.
The channels are available on all subscription tiers until 4th February and thereafter different channels will be added for periodic free viewing until September 2015.
During the free viewing period, each station will have a special channel number: ITV Choice (Channel 750), Disney Junior (Channel 751) and AXN (Channel 752).
Last November, Melita had started a free viewing period for FOX, FOX Life and Nick Junior channels for all Melita digital and HD TV customers. The free viewing period of these channels is over and is now replaced by the free viewing of ITV Choice, Disney Junior and AXN channels. FOX Life and Nick Junior were added to the Melita TV L package while FOX was added to the Melita TV XL package all at no extra cost for subscribers.
As announced last October, Melita's contact centre experienced higher than usual incoming call traffic volume following a system upgrade which caused certain administrative processes to take longer than usual. The situation is gradually returning to normal as Melita continues to work very closely and on a 24/7 basis with its IT suppliers to reach the desired service levels. The free viewing period is in line with Melita's promise to offer a gesture of goodwill to all its customers. Apart from the free viewing Melita is offering free access to a number of services until September 2015 including melitaWIFI, melita TV Everywhere and melitaWIFI Travel.
In addition to increasing personnel in its call centre and other customer contact points, Melita has developed a web contact form accessible online via www.melita.com/contactus to facilitate customer service. Customers are invited to follow the easy online process to log any billing and account administration queries.
