Celebrating Venus

Monday, 26 January 2015, 19:41 Last update: about 10 years ago

Following on from the success of its New Year's Eve party, Voulez Vous?, the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa is now proud to announce its plans for Valentine's Day 2015.

Taking place on Saturday 14 February and named after the Roman goddess of love, 'Celebrating Venus' will be a daylong salute to love and those who make our lives special.

The festivities will include themed menus at Corinthia Palace's signature restaurant the Villa Corinthia as well as its Asian-themed restaurant Rickshaw, afternoon tea at the Caprice Lounge with Mark Rapa providing the entertainment, and an all-evening-long happy hour.

The Hotel will also have special packages that include dinner at the Villa Corinthia and an over-night stay for two on a bed-and-breakfast basis starting from just €210.

"Valentine's Day is always a tricky one," explains the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa's executive chef Stefan Hogan. "While many couples go to dinner, it always feels like another date night. That's why, this year, we've decided to give this much-loved and much-observed holiday a twist.

"Through our 'Love At First Bite' menu at the Villa Corinthia and our aphrodisiacs-inspired menu at the Rickshaw - along with the entertainment - we hope to inspire people to rekindle not only their love for each other, but also their love for good food and fun celebrations."

Booking for 'Celebrating Venus' is now open, and you can reserve your special package, a space at the afternoon tea, or a table at either the Villa Corinthia or Rickshaw, by calling +356 2144 0301.
