Two men made off with a bag belonging to a man who was walking along Xwieni Street, in Marsa, this evening.

The police said that at about 6.15pm the man, 50, of Marsa, was approached by two persons who snatched his bag and ran off in the direction of Marsa shipbuilding.

The police were called on site.

 

It is understood that the bag contained documents and other personal belongings, including the man’s ID card and a wallet containing money.
