€5000 were raised in aid of id-Dar tal-Providenza through monthly contributions from Melita employees and a top-up by the company as part of its social corporate responsibility.

The donation was presented to Fr Martin Micallef, Director at Dar tal-Providenza by staff representatives at Melita's outlet in Paola.

"It is our pleasure to be helping out id-Dar tal-Providenza - an organisation that takes it upon itself to help out so many individuals and their families all year round. Through this donation, Melita wanted to pay homage to the hundreds of volunteers and professionals that work at id-Dar tal-Providenza. Our colleagues at Melita deserve to be commended for donating this money and for the time they volunteer at support organisations", commented Malcolm Briffa, Director of PR and Customer Experience at Melita.
