GO ‘Employee of the Year’ announced

Ingrid Camilleri, Manager - Technical Projects at GO , has been named as 'Employee of the Year' for 2014. During an awards presentation, a number of other GO employees were also rewarded for their significant contribution over the final six months of the year. 

GO operates two staff recognition awards. These are the Star Awards and the Gold Awards. The Star Awards allows staff to nominate colleagues who they believe delivered an outstanding performance in one, or more, of five categories, namely; innovation, customer service excellence, integrity and loyalty, teamwork and above and beyond, The Gold Award gives Senior Managers and Chief Officers the opportunity to recognise employees who make an exceptional contribution.

The Star Award winners for the third quarter of 2014 were; Priscilla Pirotta for Above and Beyond, Warren Fero for Customer Service Excellence and Ingrid Camilleri for Teamwork. The winners for the fourth quarter of 2014 were; Laurie Pace for Above and Beyond, Patrick Scicluna for Customer Service Excellence, Karl Debono for Teamwork and Corinne Fenech for Integrity and Trust. The Gold Award winners were Alison Mercieca for the third quarter and Pearl Vella for the final quarter of 2014.

Yiannos Michaelides, CEO at GO, said, "The Star and Gold Awards give GO employees and the management team an opportunity to reward all those who go the extra mile to help us achieve our goals.

Ingrid, in particular, is managing a highly technical project with great efficiency and determination.  Apart from being well organised and not afraid of pressure, her calm and friendly approach enables her to work well with colleagues from many different areas of the business. Her exceptional performance throughout 2014 makes her a worthy winner of GO's Employee of the Year award."
