Between the 5th and 7th March, MaltaPost will be participating in the International stamp exhibition in Munich. This three day event will attract thousands of stamp collectors and philatelists from all around the world. During this exhibition, international postal operators will showcase their countries' various philatelic publications. MaltaPost's Philatelic Bureau will be exhibiting a variety of Maltese stamps related to popular themes such as History, Architecture, Art and Maritime.
An Occasion Card, a Personalised Stamp Cover and a Special Hand Stamp will be issued to mark this event. The Occasion Card shows the Crown Anemone; from the Maltese Flora 2015 stamp set. The Crown Anemone is an uncommon perennial herb found in the Maltese countryside in the cold months between December and March. The Personalised Stamp/Cover and Personalised Hand Stamp feature the Munich stamp exhibition logo.
The Occasion Card will be available for sale in mint and cancelled condition as from Thursday 5th March from all Post Offices.
